Condolence From: Stephanie Moore
Condolence: I wish we could join you as Benita was not only one of my mother's and my favorite cousins, but also a favorite person. Benita and Eugenie so loved each other dearly. I hope the 11th will be a joyous event for all to celebrate such a bountiful life of such a distinctive and loving person. I miss her voice when she called. She never forgot my birthday or anniversary. Such a treasure.

all my love to the Tengs,

Stephanie

Condolence: Benita has been a friend of my family for almost 80 years. She and my father worked together in Tallinn during the war. Luckily, they found each other again in Canada. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of going to the magical Teng house for tea, baking and exploring the secret garden. If it was warm out, we might sit in the vine covered screened room.
Daisy ring and bear claws appeared as though by magic, but later, when I saw the recipe, I realized how much work all these goodies involved. Benita was the kindest, gentlest soul I have ever met. Even recently, when she could not see to read or hear to listen to music, she found joy in looking at the clouds and thinking of the friends that had passed before her. May that dear sweet lady rest in peace and enjoy some well deserved tea parties with someone else doing the work!

Condolence: Our deepest condolences to all of the family. We have fond memories of Benita and Richard visiting Frieda and Bernhard at the farm in Pitt Meadows and the complex in Mesa, Arizona. We know she was an extrodinary and exceptionally talented lady and will always be with us, in our hearts.

Condolence: The wonderful Benita! No visit from the UK to Canada both in childhood and adulthood would be complete without a visit to Julia's wonderful Grandmother who always seemed to know everything about us even across the miles. A lady who radiated warmth and love (like the rest of the Teng family!) and had a lovely smile. I have posted pictures of my last visit to see her - special times in her home when the children were so little. We were so impressed she could still play the piano. She even bought the girls little gifts and they thought of her as another grandmother in their lives at that time. I have a very vague memory from my teen years of visiting her when she had her own house and it makes me think of flowers and sweet treats! Benita be at peace with the other angels. Pippa xx

Condolence: I was writing some thoughts down about the wonderful times I had with Ema, Picking flowers in Sedona, baking kringle and bear claws, visiting Mexico twice, her making me sit on a donkey while she took my picture, riding a stagecoach in Rawhide, and Tombstone, going for walks and swimming in the pool (only if it was 88 degrees) , going to art shows in Tempe we had a lot of great times together in Arizona over the years. I would tell her I saw something I liked and I would turn around and she was carrying it. I told her put that back. I have fond memories of her. All of my sisters sent condolences, Gwen and Arlene were very fond of Ema also. And my mother said, I wish she lived next door to me, she would be my best friend.
