It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beryl Masters on Saturday, October 8, 2017 at the Seasons Dufferin Centre, Trenton, in her 89th year. Loving daughter of the late Charles and Ann Gilbert. Predeceased by her first husband, Alan Miller. Beloved wife of Ross Masters. Dear mother of Beverley Senik (David) and Gilbert Miller (Gisele). Survived by her sisters Ardys Fleming (John) and Nancy Gilbert. Loving grandmother to Sarah (Robert), Stephen, Amanda and Sean. A retired teacher, Beryl started her teaching career in a one room schoolhouse. She was a proud member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Trenton, singing in the choir for many years. Beryl served as a co-ordinator for Trenton Meals-on-Wheels. She was also an award winning amateur photographer. Thank you to the VON, CCAC and Sharon Brewster of the Altzheimer Society. A very special thank you to everyone at the Seasons Dufferin Centre, her home for the last three years, for providing wonderful care in a warm and happy environment. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. In keeping with Beryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
