Life Story for Felice Michaela Hemmers (Robbins)

Sadly, my mom Christine Gautreau, brother George Gautreau, and our families
would like to let everyone know of Grandma's passing.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the Nurses and PSWs
that provided care for Grandma. There are too many to name. I am sincerely
thankful for all of my wonderful BGH colleagues. Special thanks to the home
care nursing team Nadina, Linda, Anne, and Heather your support meant that
grandma could die peacefully at home, which is where she wanted to be.
Dr Grieve and Dr Samis, thank you for providing such compassionate care.

In the last few days with my Grandma she tried to help us with her
transition and as was her norm she was stoic and gracious.

As much as my heart is breaking, I wouldn't want to keep grandma here
another day. For all of us that knew her, we know she was a proper lady and
a proper lady always knows when to take her leave.

We love you and will miss you so.
