McCullough, Hazel Berniece – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hazel at the Belleville General Hospital on Sunday 21 May 2017, in her 96th year. Daughter of the late Henry Lee and Mary Victoria (McNabb) McCarroll. Predeceased by her loving husband John Alexander McCullough. Survived by her children Beverley Cooper (Tony), Judith Cameron (Bob Laing), Morley McCullough (Marilyn), Deborah Burrows (Bob) and loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.Hazel enjoyed a happy and full life of travelling with her husband, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and family in Canada, the USA and Europe. She was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and in her later years enjoyed knitting and puzzles.With respect to Hazel's wishes there will be no visitation or service. A family memorial service will take place south of Barrie at a later date.A huge thank you to the staff and residents of The Richmond Retirement Residence and the staff of the 3rd floor of the Sills Wing of the BGH for their friendship and caring. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
