Hunter, Beverly Ann - It's with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Hunter (nee Alyea) who passed away on April 10th, 2017. Beverly was a beloved member of the Prince Edward County Community since August 20th, 1939. She was a loving, beautiful wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother and friend to many in the area. Beverly is survived by her husband Stewart Hunter of Picton, her son Craig McConnell of Edmonton, daughter Lisa Michelle McConnell of Picton, her grandaughter Emmalee (Kohlen) McConnell, great grandaughter Bailey Mae, stepdaughter Tricia and her children Ethan and Brenna of Calgary. Beverly is also survived by her sisters Karen (Bud) Johnston and Kathy (Paul) Heath, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends were touched by her kind soul. Beverly was a retiree from CIBC Picton Branch, and one of the original founders of the "Hayloft". She also recently retired after volunteering for 15 years with the Second Time Around Shop. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appciated.
