Obituary for Graeme Sterling Fleury

Graeme Sterling Fleury

Graeme passed away peacefully at EJ McQuigge Lodge near Belleville on July 30, 2016 at the age of 77, after a lengthy illness. Cherished husband of Beverley Joan Fleury (Accette) for 29 years. Loving father to Maureen Davey (Shawn) and Allison Cheron (Bret) and stepfather to Graeme King Accette. Dear grandfather to Troy, Caroline, Beth, Diana, Amy and Matthew. Survived by his sister Morna Cook and predeceased by his brother Bob and his sister Carol Baldaro. Graeme was born on March 31, 1939 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, moving with his family to Winnipeg in 1946. Graeme moved to Toronto in 1972, and relocated to Belleville in 2003 due to a love of Prince Edward County after vacationing there for many years. He enjoyed a long career with the Bank of Montreal, retiring in 1995. Graeme enjoyed curling and was instrumental in rebuilding St. Mark’s United Church in Scarborough after it was destroyed by fire in 1979. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
