Obituary for Susan Rachael Thompson (Carreau)
THOMPSON, Susan Rachael (nee Carreau)-
Surrounded by her family at home, Susan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at the age of 65. She will be forever loved by her daughters Rachael Thompson (Steve Harding) of Orono, Kristy Thompson of Belleville, and her son Brad Thompson of Courtice. Proud grandmother to grandson Jacob. She is also survived by her brother Daniel Carreau (Annette), sisters Cathy Emerson (Don), Nancy Breckenridge, sister-in-law Bonnie Carreau, brother-in-law Moe Lewis, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Norma Carreau, her brother Peter and sister Jane Lewis. She will be missed by many life long friends and members of her community. In keeping with her wishes, cremation arrangements have been made with Quinte Cremation & Burial Services Ltd. 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-962-7900). A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held when COVID restrictions ease. An avid animal lover, donations in Susan's memory can be made to either the Quinte Humane Society, or Loyalist Humane Society.
