It was with sadness that I received the news of Mr. Hayman's passing from my brother, upon my recent return from New Zealand. It was also accompanied with a flood of fond memories from another era. As a young lad and neighbor, it was a unique privilege to visit Mr. Hayman's racing workshop and marvel at what he was creating. The highlights were when the cars were fired up and the roar reverberated through the village of Wallbridge. No doubt he had a very rich life, with his family around him. My belated thoughts and condolences are with his family. Wayne Clapp, New Zealand.

Roy was my only Uncle; my Mother's only brother. Although he was many miles away from me here in Scotland, he kept in touch and telephoned me often, especially following his sister Phyllis's death just over two and a half years ago. I think I was special to him, as he was to me. I will miss the contact that we had. My thoughts and those of my husband Harry, are with all his family at this sad time; my Aunt, my cousins and their families. Jacquie and Harry Hannay, Scotland
