Obituary for Roy Stephen Garvin
GARVIN, Roy Stephen
September 14th, 1958 - December 12th, 2020 -
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Roy peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at home with his family by his side. He leaves behind his loving wife Linda Garvin (nee Werden) of 31 years. Loving and cherished son of Doris Garvin and the late Roy Francis Garvin of Belleville. Predeceased by infant brother Jimmy Garvin and his sister Patti Kelk. Brother of David Garvin of Kentville, NS, Fred Garvin (Tiffany) of Belleville. Brother-in-law of Annette Cook (Brian) and Anita Farwell (Tom). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Roy.
In keeping with Roy's wishes, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Quinte Cremation & Burial Services, www.quintecremationservices.com and memorial donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Research, www.prostatecancer.ca
A special thank you to all the Health Care Teams that had helped Roy along his journey and made his life more bearable towards the end. An extra special and most heartfelt thank you goes to his loving mother and to a dear friend Tracy Peters who for the last month were instrumental in Roy's end of life care and greatly appreciated.
