Reta Noreen Pringle (Robinson)
We are so very sorry to announce the passing of our beloved mom, grandma and great grandma Reta.
Reta was born to Leonard and Mabel Robinson on June 25th, 1938. She married the love of her life on July 4th, 1953 and welcomed her first child, December 31, 1953, Bonnie Eretta. Six years later on April 11th, 1960 they welcomed their second child Cindy Loretta. Their third child, Kathy Lynn arrived on July 3rd, 1964 and their family was complete on September 18th,1971 by their son, Rodney Lester Laverne. Reta worked at many jobs throughout her life, but her favourite role was mother and grandmother. She was an amazing wife, and great friend to all who knew her. Reta and Gerald had an amazing love story that was cut short just shy of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, when Gerald passed away after a tremendous fight with cancer. Reta is predeceased by her parents, her husband Gerald, her siblings, Cecil Robinson, Elmer Robinson, Lillian Richardson, and Orval Robinson, her son in law Paul and her granddaughter Angie. Reta will be missed by so many, not just her family but a lot of friends that she made throughout her life. Reta is now back in the arms of her true love and reunited with so many loved ones and for that we are grateful. We will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date. Thank you to everyone that has taken care of our mom, grandma and great grandma, in the past few years at Kentwood, but especially in this last week, keeping her comfortable. Thank you to Dorothy, Mary and Bill McCarther for being best friends to her for as long as we can remember. Thank you to everyone who has sent a text, message or phone call in our time of need. We are forever grateful. Finally to our Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma, thank you for being a pillar of strength in our family, thank you for loving us all with all your heart, thank you for always supporting us, thank you for showing us what a true marriage looks like and thank you for being the glue that held our family together after the passing of our Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. We love you and although the loss of you is devastating, we have comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain and with so many loved ones that passed on before you. We can only imagine that reunion. Forever loved and always remembered. Until we meet again.
