Dryden, Nancy Lee - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Lee Dryden on Saturday February 18th, 2023 at the age of 82. Loving wife for 59 years of Allan and beloved mother of Roger and Suzanne. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Helena Sherman, her sister Carole, her brother Garry and her son Roger. Nancy was a proud graduate of the Belleville General Hospital School of Nursing (Class of 61') and an active member of the alumni for years. Always quick to help when needed Nancy spent many years as a member of the U.C.W. at St Paul's and volunteered her time at Farmtown Park. She loved reading, music, sewing, quilting, travel, gardening, antiques, and a good auction. From a caring nurse to an antique shop owner , Nancy was a beautiful and generous lady and a friend to many. She will be forever loved and never forgotten. A Funeral will be held at St Paul's United Church in Stirling on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at 2:00p.m. with visitation one hour prior from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. The family would like to thank all the people at Caressant Care in Marmora for the great care and compassion they gave to Nancy. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to Farmtown Park in Stirling. An interment will take place at Victoria Cemetery in the spring.
