FURLOTTE, Marie Jeanne Carmen (Mary)

Our beloved mom passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5th, 2022 at Crown Ridge Place in
Trenton in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Ferdinand and Blanche Bélec. Loving wife of 49
years to the late Melvin Furlotte. Mary leaves behind her children Tommy (Heather) Furlotte of
Comox, B.C., Lynn Furlotte (Jason John) of Vancouver, B.C., Patsy (John) Jenkins of Trenton, ON,
and the late Suzie (John) Farrow of Wooler, ON. Grammie to Melissa, Angela, Sierra, Travis,
Mitchell, Adam, and Leah. Step-Grammie to Steven and Christopher. Great-Grammie to Felix.
Mary was so very proud of all her grandchildren! Mary will also be sadly missed by her many
friends and family spread across the country. As the spouse of an RCAF airman, Mary excelled in
the role of running a household and raising her four children (not always an easy task!) while
Mel was away serving our country. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her huge
heart and great sense of humour. A huge thank you goes out to the amazing staff at Crown
Ridge Place nursing home, as well as Suzann DeMille, NP. Your love and care for our dear mom
will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, Mom… Cremation has taken place. There will be a
celebration of life at a later date. On behalf of Mary, donations can be made to the Crown Ridge
Place Nursing Home Residents’ Council Fund.
