Margaret spent her early years in Pilot Mound Manitoba with her parents and sister Doreen. The family moved to Winnipeg when Margaret was 7, where she spent her youth in the St. James district. Further moves included Zweibruken 1966-67, Lahr, Germany 1967-70 and finally to Trenton in 1970.

Margaret took pride in her employment with Bata Shoe for many years. She was proud to be an Executive Union representative of UFCW and was involved with the Health and Safety committee. Always working tirelessly for the betterment of the union and the brothers and sisters she supported.

Margaret also enjoyed curling and bowling in the early years. She loved gatherings with family and friends for dinners, birthdays and Christmas. She also loved Disney movies, horse competitions and flowers.

Margaret loved Trent Valley Lodge and was always thankful to all who helped out. She really enjoyed the daily activities; BINGO was her favorite game. She listened well and provided lots of compassionate care to her fellow friends at the lodge.
