Private Condolence

My deepest sympathy to Jean's entire family. I had the honour of meeting Jean in 1966, when I moved to the same home in Stittsville where she boarded. We instantly became good friends. I moved on to work at Sir James Whitney school in Belleville. Later Jean followed, to work there also. We kept in touch over the years, but hadn't seen each other until a few years ago. We talked over lunch at Swiss Chalet for about 3 hours, catching up on family news. What a pleasure it was. Since we moved to Belleville 3 years ago, we've chatted on the phone & I talked to her very recently. I knew then that she was getting weaker, but she
didn't complain. I was saddened to read of her death in the paper today. Jean was a wonderfully kind person & always smiling. Sincere condolences to all.
Mariel (& Paul) Rollins
