Obituary for Louise Betty Phillips (Morris)

Louise Betty Phillips (nee Morris) passed away peacefully at Belmont Long Term Care on Wednesday January 26th in her 75th year. Daughter of the late Harold Morris and Florence Morris (nee Carico). Beloved wife of the late Ernest Mathew Phillips for 26 years.

Louise is survived by siblings Patricia Cecchin and Reggie Morris, pre-deceased by siblings Marion, Wes, Roger, Raymond, Bob and Ron. Loving Mother of Penny Skalba, (Rod) Debbie Skalba (Dean) and Deanna Skalba (Brad). She will be greatly missed by her grandkids Randy (Kim), Jasmine, Nicola (Aaron), Dillon, Nathan and great grandkids Coldynn, Brooklyn and Isabella. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Louise found love and companionship later in life with Jack Lander who brought her great joy and happiness.

Louise was born and raised in Thorold, later on moving to St. Catharines and then settling in Belleville. Weezie as she was affectionately known was loved by all who knew her. She was always the life of the party, loved the Toronto Blue Jays and her all –time favorite movie Mama Mia.
