It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Lelya "Boots" at home, with all of her family by her side, on Wednesday August 24 2022. Boots Terry, of Belleville was 87. Beloved wife and best friend of 67 years to James L. Terry. Loving Mother of Julia Somerville, Lori Cox (Jeffrey), Beverly Atkin (Michael) and James M. Terry. Grandmother to Justin Somerville (Sherri), Jennifer Cox, Emilee Somerville, Catharine Cox- Semenuk (Jeremy). Great-Grandmother to; Austin, Rylie, Brooklyn, Anastasia and Amelia. Pre-deceased by all of her loving siblings, twin sister Dorothy (Toots) Dempsey, Gladys Keegan, Gertrude Cousins, Mary Ellen Blackburn, Marjorie Forsyth and Jack LaBarge. She will be missed, and fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews. Boots retired from Nortel, and had many friends from there that will miss her dearly. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
