Laurie Jean Simpson of Belleville Ontario passed away in her home on the 1st of June 2022. She was predeceased by her dear mother and father Mabel and Harry Simpson.
She left behind her partner, Joyce Rigley (Tanya and Kalla), her sister Lynne Simpson and all of the Simpson family.
Laurie will be greatly missed by her family, as well as her group of friends, work family and residents at Bridge St Retirement residence where she was a loved chef for over 20 years.
As a youth, growing up in Presqu'ile, she enjoyed spending time outdoors camping with her many friends.
Anyone who knows her, knows she had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She loved people and people loved her.
There will be a celebration of Laurie's life in the near future.
