Jack Ernest Dooher March 22, 1931- February 5, 2022
It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Ernest Dooher on February 5th, 2022 at his residence.
Beloved husband of Marlene (Dixon) Dooher (nee Wallace). Devoted father to Marc Dixon (Lynn Phillips). Proud and loved Grandpa to Charlotte Dixon. Predeceased by his parents Harold (Jeff) and Gladys Dooher (nee Knott), brother Ronald, sister Linda Huycke and her husband Peter.
Jack is survived his sister-in-law Joan Dooher, brothers Douglas (Margaret) and Michael. Sister-in-law Lola Holmes (Tom), Brother-in-laws Keith Wallace (Becky), Ronald Wallace (Jane).
Jack was a butcher by trade, beginning his career at Taylor’s Frosty Lockers. He worked for many years at Sharpe’s Meat Processors finishing his career at Veri-Best-Meats.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a grave-side service will be held at Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Church St., Campbellford followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jack to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Bridge Hospice, Warkworth, St. Elizabeth Home Care of Kawartha, Haliburton and Pine Ridge, or a charity of your choice.
