DOWN, Ellen Louise (nee Harvey) -
passed away peacefully at Westlake Terrace Nursing Home on Monday, January 4th, 2021. Ellen Down, of Picton was in her 73rd year. Daughter of the late John (Jack) and Beatrice Harvey. Much loved wife of the late Philip Down. Ellen is survived by her loving sons Ronald William Down and Steven Philip Down, as well as her grandson Jaden Paul Down. She is also survived by her brothers Neal Harvey (Lois) and John Harvey.
Ellen was rarely seen without a smile on her face, her laugh was contagious and she was always able to see the brighter side of things. She loved live music Especially when her brothers Neal and Terry were playing. She was raised in a very musically gifted home. The main thing said about Ellen was she was always happy and the fact is she never let go of that smile.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation arrangements have been made with QUINTE CREMATION & BURIAL SERVICE 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-962-7900).
