Earl passed away peacefully on June 13th . He was the son of the late Glenn Meyers and Mary Naomi (Campbell). Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (Jones) for 62 years. Beloved father of Paul C (Lynn) of Belleville and Lori. Dear brother of the late Della Dafoe (Lawrence), Joan Shenfield (Mark)and Robert Meyers of Alberta. Loved Poppa of Maija, Carlee and Alexandra. Great grandfather of Gavin and Natasha of Ottawa.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday July 3 at 2:00 at Earl and Mary’s home on Old Highway2.
Earl was the great great great grandson of Captain John Walden Meyers. Earl farmed with his father prior to starting his career at Texaco, where he worked for 30 years. He retired at 56 and spent 31 years as a ‘Snowbird’ in Florida. He enjoyed the friends, flea markets and rummage sales. He always bought something to store. COVID 19 put a stop to that.
