Of Tweed, passed away peacefully with his loving sister Ruth by his side on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 at the age of 74. Much loved son of Monica McLaughlin (nee Courneyea) and the late Joseph D. Pickard. Loving husband to Nicole for 39 years. He will also be forever remembered by his siblings; Ruth Jones (late Mike) of Belwood, Diane Sharpe (Bob) of Oakville, Ken Pickard (Cindy) of Nepean, his sisters-in-law Marilyn (late Don), Michelle Murray (Alan) , brother-in-law Marcel Girouard, as well as many nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, cremation arrangements have been made with QUINTE CREMATION & BURIAL SERVICES 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-962-7900). There will be no service. Doug will be laid to rest at a later date in Oakville.
