It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Charles Irwin
David passed peacefully, at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday April 9th, 2021. He was born the 26th of October, 1951 in Belleville Ontario to Gordon Thomas and Marjorie Irene (Steenburgh) Irwin, exactly 10 yrs after his older brother Jack.
He will be dearly missed by his loving partner Damaris and family. He is survived by his only much loved son Ron Irwin and grandson Nathaniel Irwin of Kingston Ont. Also a grandson Mathew Irwin of Belleville Ont., Brother Gordon (Pat) Irwin of Merrickville,Ont.,Clifford (Lynn) Irwin of Stirling, Ont., and sister Linda Baker of Belleville, Ont. plus many nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his brother Jack Irwin (2019) and Jim Irwin (2009). David worked at GM in Oshawa for many years as a sheet metal worker, coming home when retired. He loved the outdoors and was also clever at carpentry work. When young he loved to work with his father and older brothers training and racing standardbred horses in Belleville and surrounding area.
