Obituary for Daniel Arthur Seames

SEAMES, Daniel “Danny” Arthur – Born November 6, 1949

Of Belleville, passed away at his home, on Monday, July 13, 2020, in his 71st year. Son of the late Herbert and Joan Seames (Dolder). Beloved husband of Lynda (Gunning) for 49 years. Loving father of Amy (Steve Coady), and Chad. Proud Grandpa and Poppa to Nathan, Abby, Caleb and Gavyn. Cherished brother of Lynda (late Bob Hultquist), Susan (Dave Begley), predeceased by his brothers Herb (Fran) and Larry. Sadly missed by his Aunt Rose, and friends Carole and Claire, his brother-in-law David Gunning (Heather). Uncle to Bryan, Shane, Becky, Sean,Todd, Kurt, Bobbi and Brady.
Danny went to Loyalist College, where he met the love of his life Lynda, and became a Draftsman, and worked at Napanee Industries and Stephen-Adamson as an Inspector, then worked at London Life for 16 years, then went back to metal and machinery and was Project Manager/Estimator for different fabricating companies in Belleville, Lindsay and Barrie for large projects in the GTA.
He became very ill 7 years ago to overcome triple bypass heart surgery, and was given a new challenge with Type 1 diabetes, and then a few years later kidney failure to receive dialysis everyday, to have his leg amputated in March due to complications. He was a fighter to the end. As weak as he was, he never gave up, just took the next hurdle in stride, until his body could no longer do it. He passed away so peacefully, in spite of his terrible suffering in the last few months of his life at home with his wife Lynda caring for him.

Cremation has taken place, and a burial will be at a later date. Be kind, be a good human being and tell your loved ones you love them.
