Obituary for Carol Faye Pye (Thompson)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Faye Pye, (October 20 1949 - October 21 2022) after a brief battle with cancer. Carol is predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Morrison Pye of 40 years and their son Kristopher Michael Pye.
Carol will be deeply missed by her children Mark Pye (Sonya), Gidget/Gloria Bentley (Terry), Gary Pye (Cara) and her two sisters, Gloria Thompson (Gerry) and Pamela Schmitt (Harry). Carol will also be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loyal companion Pi.
Carol passed peacefully and courageously at home surrounded by her loving family. She will be fondly remembered as a fun-spirited lady, who was quick-witted and loved life. Carol was very creative, she had a love to draw, paint and sew, her creations will be cherished.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Victoria Cemetery, 843 Bronk Road, in Thurlow. Reception to follow. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Fixed Fur Life.
