Obituary for Brent Patterson "Sid" Redmond
Sid Redmond (Brent)
March 14th 1957 – August 10th 2019
At Hospice Prince Edward, August 10th 2019 with his wife Rosemary, his son Travis (Sky), his step-daughters Shannon (Dave), Leslie (Rick), and Corrine (Josh), his sister Kim (Dave) and sister-in-law Sandra (Joe), we said good-bye to our precious Sid.
He was the adored and loved son of Pat Redmond and the late Al Redmond. Keely, Reese, Bree, Cameron, Jacob, Kirk and Lila will forever remember Papa Sids magic tricks, jokes, and the warmth of the hugs and cuddles he always had for the loves of his life. He was loved by his brothers Mark and Jim (Dorelle) and his “captain” Kenneth Ferguson. He will be remembered with a big smile by his nieces and nephews, his “Sheila”, and the McFerguson family.
His sense of humour and smile will leave a large void in the aisles of Picton Sobeys. Sid loved his job and took much pride in his work. He will be greatly missed by Jaime, Steve, Patsy, the Sobeys employees, and most of all, by his customers.
At Sid’s request there will be no service. Sid threw himself a party in May and was forever grateful for the memories that he was able to take with him. To everyone who was lucky enough to be a part of his life, even in the smallest way, he thanks you, and in a true Sid sign-off reminds you all to “keep smiling”.
