Obituary for Arthur James "Jim" Graham

Arthur James “Jim” Graham
January 27, 1944 - March 12, 2020

Suddenly, at his residence on Edward Street, Stirling at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Pamela Graham (Coad) for the past 55 years.
Loving father to Allan Graham (Tanya), Lee-Anne Mitchell (Drew), and Jonathan Graham (Tia).
Jim will be fondly remembered by his 3 grandsons Christopher, Andrew and Fergus.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Marjorie Graham of Thomasburg.

1964 was a pivotal year for Jim. As well as marrying his sweetheart Pam, he graduated teacher's college and started his career as an elementary school teacher. He and Pamela also began to study the bible together with neighbours Thor and Bente Jensen who were Jehovah's Witnesses. This led to a lifelong friendship and to both of them dedicating their lives and getting baptized in 1965, continuing to serve faithfully until his death.

Jim was well known for his love of puns and his attempts at trying to be funny. He loved music, playing trumpet in the high school band, piano, accordion and mostly for his beautiful tenor voice.

Jim continued steadfastly serving as a member of the Christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Stirling being a fine example of faith until his sudden death.

He touched many people's lives and hearts both as an educator and a minister of Jehovah. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made in his name to the Stirling congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Heart Institute in Ottawa

Due to the threat of the COVID-19 virus, Jim’s Memorial Service will be announced later, once the risks to everyone's health have subsided.
