Obituary for Glenn "Suds" Harold Brunton

BRUNTON, Glenn Harold (Suds)-
July 21, 1927 – July 7, 2017
Passed away peacefully at the Hastings Manor Nursing Home, Belleville on Friday July 7th, 2017 in his 90th year. Son of the late Harold & Mabel Brunton. Best Friend and companion of Margaret Wadsworth. Father of Lara Brunton-Fitzgerald (Fabian). Grandfather to Glenn and Jessica. He is survived by his siblings; Jack Brunton (Nancy), Barbara Greenly, Wanda Tweedie, Robert Brunton, Ray Brunton (late Joan), Gary Brunton (Carole), Arthur Brunton (Evelyn) and Wayne Brunton (Denise). Predeceased by his sister Phyllis Huble-Wilkinson. He will also be fondly remembered by Michael, Sylvie, Alisa Vieau and the little guy Mason Vieau .
Glenn was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, 413 Wing Association, Masonic Lodge, Halifax Restoration Team and the Airforce Museum for 10 years. He was in the Merchant Navy during World War II, he joined the Air Force afterwards and worked as a mechanic and then Flight Engineer. He followed that by working for the Department of Transportation in Ottawa. Before retiring Glenn flew commercially for World Ways. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
