Meens, William Ernest (Bill) – Passed away suddenly at Westgate Lodge in Belleville on Wednesday July 5th, 2017. William Meens, of Belleville, in his 99th year. Son of the late William and Anne (Jones) Meens. Beloved husband of Myrtle Angeline Meens (Rosebush) for 77 years. Dear father of William H. Meens (Patricia) of R.R.7 Belleville. Survived by his brother Harry Meens (Jeanette) of Halifax. Predeceased his sisters Gladys Doolittle, Katherine Titus, Hilda Milligan, Joan Sills, and by his brothers Arthur, James and Fred Meens. Loved by his grandchildren Traci Ragoo (Kieron), William Meens (Sheryl), Jalna Meens, Evan Meens, and by his great grandchildren Keeley, Gillian and Liam. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life on Friday July 14th, 2017 at St Thomas Anglican Church in Belleville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to the service time at 12:00 noon.
